What's the challenge we constantly put to our team?
- Enable charities to fulfill their online potential.
That goes across what everyone does whether it's strategy, design, technology or hosting. We're always seeking ways to do something great, something amazing, something that’s really going to make a difference to you and your supporters.
The digital revolution presents both opportunities and challenges to charities. We want to help you embrace digital: to successfully engage with supporters; increase donations and raise income. We can help you determine what, when and how to invest in digital.
What’s most often quoted as having been the single biggest factor when a charity chooses to work with us?
- Our Team. A trustworthy, fun and extremely talented group of people that make even the most challenging agile project enjoyable.
We believe:
- The nature of communication is changing: charities need to keep up
- High quality, appropriate, working software speaks louder than documentation
- Everything should be made as simple as possible and no simpler
- It’s all about responding to change and delivering results, we plan as much as necessary as we go along
- We value individuals and interactions over processes and tools
- We value strong, long term collaborative client relationships, building value for both parties over short term profit and contract negotiation. As a result 80% of new business comes from our existing clients
The small print:
Established in 1997 and consistently a leading voice in the charity internet sector, Baigent Digital has always sought to enable charities to get more out of online, from providing CMS in 1998 to current market-leading digital strategy and online fundraising.
We're members of CharityComms, we are an NCVO-approved consultant and have been awarded the ISO9000 and Investors in People standards.
Baigent Digital is the trading name for Baigent Limited a company registered in England and Wales, company registration number 3415322. We're VAT Registered, number 669396470.
Our website is essential in helping us to capture the public's interest and generosity at appeal times. During the recent China appeal, we saw the highest numbers on the website since the Tsunami and the British Red Cross was the only charity in the top 5 sites which users visited for information on the China earthquake (after Google, BBC, Guardian and Youtube) At those times we know we can depend on the utter reliability of the team at Baigent.
Dorothea Arndt, New Media Manager, British Red Cross
We’re delighted with how the website has turned out and we’ve already received lots of positive feedback since the launch, last week.
Please do pass on our thanks to the whole Baigent team as I’m sure the involvement has spread beyond those that I’ve been in direct contact with. Particular thanks should certainly go to the team who metaphorically held my hand through the last few weeks. Their determination helped us meet our deadline and deliver a site that we are all proud of.
We look forward to our continued relationship with Baigent over the coming months and years.
